Spring Greens Make A Delicious, Nutritious Meal
This row of mixed greens wintered over under the fleece cover you see here. It’s a great way to get a jump on spring.
Rhubarb--One Of Our Favorite Spring Treats
Yum! Rhubarb crisp, rhubarb sauce, rhubarb whatever. We love it!
Tulip Season Was A Huge Success!
Thanks to all of our customers—both locals and out-of-towners—who stopped and purchased our tulip bouquets. We hope they brought as much joy to your lives as they did to ours.
It's Tulip Time!
Tulips will be in full bloom soon. Make plans now to stop by and pick out your favorites.
Pansies Are Here!
We have dozens of beautiful pansies for sale at our roadside farm stand. Colors from pale yellow through dark purple, many with faces that will make you smile. Stop by today and take some home.
It's Time To Start Seeds!
Spring is here and it’s time to sow our vegetable and flower seedlings. We’ve already started onions, beets, fava beans, cilantro, and parsley. We’ve also got a great start on our ranunculus, lisianthus, campanula, larkspur, and tulips. We can’t wait to move these babies out to the garden. Visit us this spring at our roadside stand.
Dried Flowers and Pumpkins
Dried flowers on white pumpkins made beautiful take-home gifts.
Gorgeous Flowers --Fall Is Here
Fall flowers are at their peak right now. Vibrant colors and full blooms make beautiful bouquets.
Spring Sales Have Been A Big Success
Our spring plant sales are nearly over. Tomatoes are gone and peppers are too. Cucumbers, zucchini and herbs are in short supply. So we’ll focus on our beautiful cut flower bouquets until summer produce comes in. Stop by our roadside farm stand for a visit.
Beautiful Pansies Are A Sure Sign Of Spring
Our pansy sales this spring have exceeded our expectations. Thanks to all who have stopped—both new and return customers. Only a few left! Stop by and pick up yours before they’re gone.
Pansies Are Here!
These beautiful pansies announce the arrival of our spring season. If the weather cooperates, we’ll open our roadside farm stand on Wednesday, March 15. Stop by and shop with us!
Off To A Strong Start
These lisianthus seedlings have a great root system. They’ll be ready to set out in a few weeks.
It's Almost Spring!
As spring approaches, it’s time to sort through our hundreds of seed packs to schedule this year’s sowing. It’s hard to believe that it’s the last day of January. So much to do to get ready! Believe it or not, we’ve already started our first seedlings. We’re transitioning to grow more cut flowers this year. This is our first attempt at those temperamental lisianthus. Wish us luck!
Summer's End
Thank you to all of our loyal customers from near and far who have helped make this season a memorable one. We have met so many wonderful people; it’s truly a blessing. We’re already planning for next spring and have started planting out some winter-hardy cold season flowers. Our seed orders have started arriving too. And there’s always the end-of-season cleanup in the garden. Now for a restful winter by the fire!
Two-and-a-half Pounds! Yikes!
This PINK JAZZ tomato is just one of many huge fruits this summer. Come out and see us.
Something New This Year
We’re excited to bring our customers upgraded cut flower bouquets this summer. New varieties. New flower stand. And new presentations. We hope you’ll be pleased with what we expect will be a more creative side of our business. At $10 a bouquet, it’s quite a bargain.
Summer Garlic Harvest
We’ve harvested our elephant garlic and it is beautiful. We’ll let it dry for a few more days and then it’s up to the farm stand for sale. Stop by and check us out.
